In 1963 the Gjørup family, inspired by the American retail chain and shopping mall concepts, inaugurated the first BR shop in Roskilde (Denmark). The development has been fast and today there is 196 BR shops in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany. Brandhouse®'s job goes from developing the strategy to marketing concepts and production.
